Bathed in evening sunlight,

The garden of a million wishes,

Clear blue heavens,

Cloudless skies bring their heat,

Embracing the life filled waters below me,

Views that stretch for miles around me.

 

The garden of a million sunshines,

Contented days we seldom see now,

The buzz of insects all around,

Here is where the peace I’ve found,

Amongst only my company,

To reminisce, dissect reality,

The kindest shell of immortality.

 

Shadows alas, now creep slowly towards me,

Bluer skies now turning dusk,

The garden of a million wishes is were I make my wish for you,

So we may -  and can always say -  “we’ll be together”,

A million hearts, a million kisses,

Goodnight sweet garden, a million wishes.
